Tamara Clary Clark . Creating the Beehive Girls®
As the owner of TC Artworks, Inc., a decorative finishing business in Raleigh, N.C., Tamara Clary Clark experienced firsthand how easy it is to neglect our friendships and, ultimately, ourselves.
She created the Beehive Girls® to encourage women to express how much the support of girlfriends means in this crazy world!
Long inspired by the strength, generosity, and love of life exhibited by her grandmother and her mother, Tamara learned from these two women how to be independent and how to give to others graciously and unselfishly--in other words, how to be a good friend.
Tamara, who has lived and worked in Raleigh for many years, received a BFA in fashion illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University and later attended Meredith College, earning a teaching certificate in art education. A former secondary school art teacher, Tamara believes that by reaching for your dreams and caring about your friends, you discover yourself and create the life you love.
Virginia Evans, Tamara's grandmother who was raised during the Depression, was a second grade teacher in South Hill, Va. At age 76, she traveled across the country, staying in a tent, and wrote a book about the experience, Seeing the U.S. through the Eyes of a Tent. Now 95, she continues to inspire those around her.
Tamara's mother, Jean Clary Bagley, is just as incredible! Visit her website at www.c21clary.com/agents/jclary/clary.shtml.
